Lanzarote Nightlife
Night life in Lanzarote is anything but boring. You might find a bar that is carved into volcanic rock on the beach. The discos and bars in Arrecife are fund on José Antonio Street, and in Puerto del Carmen on Las Playas Avenue. In Costa Teguise the pubs line Islas Canarias Avenue.
After a late dinner, you can choose from casinos and shows to trendy open-air cafés, discos and pubs. There
Are also festivities and traditional open-air dances which can be enjoyed all around the island, all year round.
La Cueva de Lagomar ( Omar Sharif’s onetime home) houses a unique garden bar. At Old Town Sports Bar, they show all sports including live horse racing, football, rugby, boxing, etc. They also have quiz nights, ladies nights, and comedy nights. If that isn’t enough, they give poker lessons on Monday evenings, and have a putting green inside the bar.
Café del Carmen is a quiet, tranquil, place where you can relax and enjoy good food, drink and music with a breathtaking view of the Atlantic. The Café is like a secret place where one can see without being seen.
The biggest and best clubs and pubs are found on “the strip,” in Puerto del Carmen. Halfway along the strip is “Centro,” or the main clubbing area. There you will find buildings with might clubs, bars, and live bands all on different floors. No matter what resort you are at, there are bars, clubs, bingo, and entertainment, to be found.
